Issue Position

Throughout my career I have worked to protect our natural resources and to promote the growth of clean, energy efficient industries and technologies. I have authored legislation incentivizing the implementation of solar panels, requiring battery manufacturers to institute plans to deal with the recycling of their products, and establishing the infrastructure for vehicle charging stations. I hope to bring my expertise in this area to Washington in order to preserve our environment for future generations while encouraging the job growth that we so desperately need.
